Heimsheim, Germany – October, 2025 – Rapid Shape GmbH, a leading provider of 3D printing solutions, and H3D, a leading AI technology company, are proud to announce the successful integration of H3D’s AutoDesign with Rapid Shape’s RS Print Studio.
This seamless integration delivers automated workflows that significantly streamline the manufacturing process for laboratories and clinics worldwide.
The integration introduces specialized workflows between both companies’ software that eliminate manual setup steps and reduce production time for manufacturers. The solution addresses the growing demand for efficient, automated manufacturing processes across the industry.

The new integration offers four specialized workflows designed for different hearing aid manufacturing requirements:
Hard Acrylic Molds with Cone Support – Automated processing with no additional supports needed
Hard Acrylic Molds with Multiple Supports – Optimized support placement for complex geometries
Soft Silicone Casting Molds with Cone Support – Streamlined workflow for silicone casting applications
Soft Silicone Casting Molds with Multiple Supports – Enhanced support optimization for intricate cast designs
Each workflow includes intelligent part recognition, automatic orientation optimization, and pre-configured support strategies tailored specifically for production requirements – guaranteeing the perfect results every time.
The partnership addresses critical efficiency challenges faced by manufacturers, particularly the time-intensive manual setup processes traditionally required when transitioning from design to production. The automated workflows are expected to reduce setup time while maintaining the high precision standards essential for manufacturing.
